I have a shot of these in my portfolio and had no idea what they were (as is the case for most of my shots really). They're beautifl flowers but just as everything else in nature, the more beautifully decorated it is the more danger. Like those red frogs.

I like the pastel colors in this one over the strong vibrant purple in the ones I shot.

Looks like you caught the moth/butterfly in motion. I like it. The subject is the flower still and the moth/butterfly is just added interest to the shot.

I love the silhouette here. This is actually really nice. I would crop out the bottom part though because the bright light is distracting and just doesn't go with the mood of the shot imo. Cut just below the bottome silhouetted leaf and you'll still have just a little of the white but it isn't much and I think the leaf should be kept in it. jmo

I think all of my flower shots are taken with the 90-300. Yes you have to stand far enough away and can't get some of the angle but it really adds dof. the only reason I've been using it really though is cause I knew it worked fine and I was too lazy to change to the kit lense. I might do that today though cause there's a flower in my yard that I want to get above and shoot down on it.

I think this could use a bit better focus but it is an interesting flower. Looks like it might be some kind of thistle maybe?

Looks a little oversharpened but not distractingly so. Looks like something I'd do myself (which I get comments on alot). I'm usually not a fan of wide borders but this one doesn't bother me so much. It works for the shot.
