Home Sweet Homeby christyrackComment: The tree is a good element to use to frame this barn, but you've hidden it behind the tree too much - looks like there could have been a strong composition about 3 steps to the left and pointing back towards the barn.
The light is extremely harsh too - looking to be almost mid-day - this is about the worst time you could be trying to take a shot like this |

Titanic Cemeteryby BeagleboyComment: Good composition, leads the eye through the frame. Shame there is no pay-off for following it back though. Feels like something is missing. |

Sacred Watchby ShelleyComment: Nice mirroring of the guard and the monument .
Shame you didn't ask him to step forward into that 'space' and line things up more . A lower angle would have helped you hide all the clutter at the bottom of the monument too (cranes, buildings etc) |

Park Pavilion - Sacred Place of Childhood Memoriesby kirbicComment: Great colours - wish you hadn't lost half the reflection though - Somehow you must have been able to get the sky, house and reflections all in the frame! Maybe a really low angle to the water ? Good shot - though the harsh shadows across the left of the building indicate a better time of day would have improved things ? |

the simple red barnby jpb323redComment: The way the light is for this shot, it seems that everything but the barn is highlighted, from the bright foreground to the bright background. You have a good idea, but you'd need to wait until the light changed - the dark twig through the frame doesn't help much either |

In My Little Townby TerryGeeComment: This light seems really bad for the subject - lots of hard, harsh and unpleasant shadows - almost as if you'd used car headlights or a spot light. Some other time of day would have helped, but it would still be a very straight on composition of a church |

Comeby mariomelComment: good, literal depiction of the theme and a reasonable recording of what is there |

Cemeteryby StevePaxComment: its a grave, with some sun. A very common subject. Could possibly be good with some more thought to show something unique or different. The tree in the background seems randomly located or accidental |

Church at Nightby TooCoolComment: Shame you couldn't get the whole of orion into the shot. Well exposed given the range though. |

Communionby ellamayComment: Good choice making the trees the subject, rather than the sunset. |
