Desert Beautyby quarxComment: A bit too tightly cropped - needs some space on the upper right |

Serenity Nowby elliottwhitleyComment: a bit too centered - if there was nothing to the right of this, it might work well with the tree on the far left, the hut on the left and then some open space ? |

Half & Halfby chariotComment: like the composition on this - works well in B&W to show the textures/ patterns. Wonder if it needs to be rotated though - vertical and rising to a point would be more 'dramatic' ? |

Tubeby networkguyComment: conveys the confined space well, using the left edge effectively. Would like to see a long exposure shot with the train moving/ blurred out ? |

Flareby GordonComment: Some comments : It is hair (not a wig, not an animal!) and it's a shot of my wife, lying on a white board. About the right hand side truncation - that's where her shoulders are... I know a lot of people hated it, but it was required for the shot. also the exposure - again required to 'white out' the skin of the face. |

Untitledby prodigal havocComment: not sure the B&W helps on this - the contrast is quite soft. Perhaps not enough light on the area that's been focused on. Could be interesting to isolate just one leaf/ water and have that as the only thing in the frame ? |

passing thoughtsby heartsdivideComment: light needs some work I think to make this more interesting - a desk lamp, sun light, something to cast some more interesting shadows |

Dock at Twilightby bdshortComment: moody lighting works well in this. It is always slightly disconcerting to see a skewed horizon when it is only slighty skewed. Would be more 'lonely' without the boat on the left, and the bouy on the right |
