Grilled Chipmunkby JPRComment: Good show Jason!
I use the showman's way of starting the BBQ. Turn on the gas, step back, light a match and throw it in. Wooof! I did this one day and about 5 seconds later a mouse jumps up on the side of the BBQ, down on to the ground, and off into the bushes. I'm still not sure who was the most surprised out of the two of us. |

Fallenby jab119Comment: Simple. Effective. The faded red against the blue of the water is just a great touch. Very evocative. Thank you. 10 |

Alone on the playgroundsby vadviragComment: This is an interesting shot. Desaturation is usally used to draw attention to a subject, but here it draws the attention away. As such the shot almost works. Good job. |

Dead Treeby divineinspirationComment: This is just a bit too bright.. there are no real blacks in the picture and the sky is overexposed. Maybe not centering the subject and showing more of the landscape would enhance the feeling of aloneness? |

Where am I?by olistComment: Subject not distinct enough from the background. Maybe placing the subject on a third would help focus the attention on them? |

A dedicationby RobroComment: Funny. I saw the same exact plaque in the middle of the Garden District in New Orleans. I guess nothing happened alot in 1897 ;) |

Tool of Self Expressionby DJLubaComment: There is, of course, the idea of a vehicle being a tool for transporting people from one place to another. In my opinion a tool is anything humans use that is not built into our bodies. It's amazing how many people narrowly define words when there are all sorts of other meanings. I bet the people that did not consider this a tool would gladly label a forklift or tractor a tool. *sigh*
Needless to say, this is a great shot of a tool. |

the intimate locustby grigrigirlComment: I did. This was one of my higher rated photos. Too bad nobody else really got it. Message edited by author 2003-09-18 09:42:58. |
