I can't believe we lost this gameby dfstevensonComment: I love seat pictures and like the placement of your subject and her vividly contrasting with the seats. DOF is right one and your selection for a seat section is great - strong horizontal lines and vertical lines coming from the sloping seat backs (and complimentary "cutout").
I think a key part of this challenge (imho) was being able to take a people-less photo and make it compelling, so I'm knocking you down a point for that from a "challenge merit" perspective. But the photo itself really works for me. |

In the Dugoutby SquishyBComment: Nice perspective and it definitely has an "after the game" feel to it. As far as "challenge merit" I like how this is clearly a sporting venue and that your "subject" is something that really is likely to have been left after a game (vs. say a bat, glove or even a ball). Nice strong lines. |

Bases Unloadedby bcpollmeierComment: What appeals to me about this picture is how my eye movement mimics the movement of the game. Nice perspective and composition. |

Lets celebrate my victoryby SimpaComment: I like the symmetry and mood here. Alas it doesn't meet what I'm looking for in this challenge. Hope you enjoyed the meal! |

descendingby cpo06Comment: Nice movement! My eyes go right down those stairs and on to the field. Good use of DOF and the conversion really works for me. |

Corner Boardsby lkn4truthComment: I have a soft spot for seat photos and I really like the lines and quirkiness in yours (quirkiness from some seats being up and others down). Clearly it's post game! Nice composition. |

brrrrrby TimbroComment: I found myself waiting for the rest of the image to load - so visually I wanted the flag to not be cut off. I can't *see* a linke between your title and the image. I like the diferent perspective on the score board and it meets the "after the game" feel. |

CheckMateby RefreshComment: The tone of this image feels murky to me (vs. warm). I like the perspective and the arrangment of the pieces. The eye is drawn directly to the felled black king. Alas, I feel the challenge intended to be a *sports* venue (athletic game) not the broader game. |

After it's all said & done by ace flymanComment: I like the conversionation - dramatic. The shadows show the lateness of the day which adds to the sense of "after the game." The compostion of the bat, ball and glove is nice. |

Last Game of the Seasonby hudsonComment: I've seen a few "locked gate" photos in the challenge (about 60% through) and I really like yours. The lock draws the eye - the redness, sharp focus, line of the fence. I like the OOF background that still has readable "entrance", the team name etc - clearly a ticket booth type thing. Nice composition. |
