I've seen a few "locked gate" photos in the challenge (about 60% through) and I really like yours. The lock draws the eye - the redness, sharp focus, line of the fence. I like the OOF background that still has readable "entrance", the team name etc - clearly a ticket booth type thing. Nice composition.

At first I liked the purple, but the more I think about it, it's a little overdone. I do really like the detail on the gate though.

Nice image with good focus on the lock. The way the purples are the only colour is very nice (selective desat or were they the natural colours?): 7
