Hi all,

I notice that most of the comments on my presentation are about the venue of the challenge....

Well, this dinner was the reward of a beautiful day spended on a golf course...

I think that if a golf club or my golf cap could have been added to the subject...

Any way, thanks all... your comments are positive... I take them all in considération...

Just my observations - take what you need and bin the rest...
Kinda doesn't meet the challenge for me... without the title there'd be no indication that a sporting event had taken place... as it's a victory celebration maybe you could have included a trophy of some kind within the image.. or a baseball glove etc.(?)

good idea, it seems a bit blurry and crowded... still good shot!

Beautiful shot, but I think the challenge was to shoot the sports venue.

Sporting venue for an iron chef? Looks like a nice dinner, nice arrangement, just probably a little too busy for DPC.

neat picture, but other than the title... I'm not getting the game part !

I think I get your drift, but looks like 4 meals - so it's a group sex night? Sorry, it'a a rather nice pic, but IMO DNMC.

I've held off on voting on this for a couple days now trying to decide if a picture can meet challenge simply by the title. It is a good picture, albeit a little dark for my preference and the floating highlight in the upper-left quadrant is a little distracting. If there was something sports, or even game, related in the shot, I would have scored higher, probably a 6 or a 7, but after voting on everything else, I just can't bring myself to do it. 4

Pretty shot for any other challenge; quite soft and lacking in contrast and IMHO is very loosely shoehorned into the challenge via title.

I like the symmetry and mood here. Alas it doesn't meet what I'm looking for in this challenge. Hope you enjoyed the meal!

I get the idea here but doubt dpc voters will. Dinner looks good anyway.

This is so off target it's actually funny - but the picture is nice

oh that's tough lighting - I think a little ambient light to give definition to the dark areas would be helpful. Nice creative take on the challenge! 7

Nice rich lighting, great still life, but sadly DNMC for me, as I fail to see any sporting venue, or even the suggestion of one.

Looks like a food magazine picture, but kind of a stretch to meet the challenge.

sporting venue...hmmmmmm...nice photo but DNMC

A good moody feel with the lighting and the composition is good as the table seems to form a "V" to pull my eye to the candle in the middle. I'd give this a 6 or 7 normally but as the challenge said "photograph a sporting venue after the game is over" and there is no indication the table was the venue DNMC=3

Nice still life, but it does not look like a sporting venue.

interesting concept but I thought it was suppose to be a shot of a venue after a sporting event. NOW, had you taked a photo of messy plates and food scattered here and there then perhaps it would have been after a "eating" competition and the table would have been your venue.

nice photo but does say after the game to me

While the title tries to lead the viewer that this has met the challenge,
the challenge says to photograph a sporting venue. Fine dining just doesn't cut it as a sporting event for me. DNMC

Details: Your challenge this week is deceptively simple: photograph a sporting venue after the game is over and the players and people have gone home :-)

this is not a photo of the venue, thus, it does no appear to meet the challenge

DNMC, not a "sporting venue" (but it looks so yummy!)

You miss the sporting venue part of it.
