Rio Grande Gorgeby davidwComment: This one feels a bit too sharp for me, the colours don't quite pop and the bride structure sort of merges with the orange/brown of the land.
It's not a bad photo by any means though. |

Caramel morningby Yo_SpiffComment: Gorgeous sunset and shapes, however the photo feels ever so slightly lopsided for me. I think it's that the strong and simple central composition makes me want the sun to fit into that frame and be centered as well. |

Dune Fence at Winter's Endby PenelopeKComment: I really liked the thumbnail but clicking through it's a little bit too sharp for me I think.
The shadows and the fence are gorgeous and the composition really works but the texture of the sand doesn't really work for me, I'd want it to be smoother instead of the one dimensional sandpaper look.
It's still a solid photo though. Also I am very well aware that the exact quality of the sand isn't under your control. A slightly different post processing might have changed the effect a bit though. |

Dying Treeby TCGuruComment: Awww I'm sorry to hear about the tree.
As for the picture I think even that a shallower dof would be interesting to isolate out more a part of the texture rather than having it be a bit overwhelming as it is. I.e the eye is sort of pulled all over the place. It depends as well on how close your lens can focus. |

Lanceby Art RoflmaoComment: Shiny white fangs :) I like the shallow dof and the focus on the nose and whiskers. I often forget that dogs have whiskers too. |
