Our cat Capsule sitting on her favorite place.
Lighting: window left and 1 cold light right
Almost no postprocessing: cropping, curves.
This is my first challenge with the 5D mark II, with the good surprise that my "old" and "cheap" lens Sigma 24-70 works very well with it.

beautiful cat. Nice set up, and great DOF. I can see the idea on the crop and composition, but for me personally it doesn't work. There is too much blank space. I Think maybe a square crop would have been better, and keep the entire laptop in frame. That is my main criticsm but composition is most important to me, so i only gave it a 5.

I almost did something very similar and when I was voting last night I thought - phew! glad I didn't, comparatively I would have come up short!
