Snuggle Timeby WildflowerJoyComment: Just had to let you know this really caught my attention as I was going through the voting. It was the first color photo after about 10 b&w photos and the color really grabbed me. |

Lullabyby tcherringComment: Simply stunning. Love the way the light is coming over the shoulder and hitting the baby. Pulls the eye right into it. |

Wow that is one ugly insect. Excellent macro with good detail. You might want to try spot editing out the cracks in the wood they seem to take your attention from the bug to the leaf.

Golden Garden Spiderby klasikrkadeComment: *Critique Club*
Fantastic Macro, good detail to it, and excellent color. This does meet the challenge but I feel you lost some points from voters cause the water droplets just distract so much from the spider had this not been an insect challenge and rather just macro I am sure that would have added to it, but in this case it hurt you.

While you lay sunbathing...by Everyday ReneeComment: *Critique Club*
Fantastic Macro of this spider. Only thing that could possibly improve it is if it were on something other than the towel. It really is excellent.

Homeless Friendsby ImagineerComment: This is a really cool shot. Shows that no matter what our situation may be we still need friends. The dog probably a stray became the man's only family on the street. I'd say you have a wonderful photo here! |

Sad facesby pitsamanComment: LOL Kosta, if you wanted a self portrait in stone you could have used a can of spray paint, you didn't have to do the Flintstone thing of a rock and a chisel. =o) Very cool shot! |

Lace Macroby SwashbucklerComment: *Critique Club*
Hi Rob.
I've sat here looking at this photo trying to decide what to say about it. First off it doesn't do much for me. The macro itself is good with lots of detail and it does fit the challenge well, there is definately repetition in this photo so what is it I don't like about the photo? I think it lacks color and or tones. Possibly a little color behind the lace or try photographing it away from the window to get some tones and shadows into it.
As it is now you got a cool building ground for some neat abstracts by playing with color and tone and I seriously would play with it some. It definately was able to hold my attention long enough to sit here since last night trying to figure out what I didn't like about it and how to improve it.
