Spring Thaw

Compositionally I would have preferred for you not to cut off the rocks in the lower right hand corner, as well as, to crop out the upper third of the photo. I don't think it adds anything to see above the area of the ocean where it changes color from light to darker blue. This picture has a lot of potential and I love the vivid blue colors and the how you captured the mirror like quality of the water on the sand in the mid forground, just above the rocks.

I really like the different shades of brown and tan here, as well as, the DOF, but I took off some points because to look at the photo, it doesn't say "weather" to me without knowing that it was entered in that challenge.

Snow Damage

It's not clear to me exactly what's been damaged by the snow...looks as if it's the roof, but can't tell for sure. Would have prefered more of a close up of one of the buildings than the whole row of them. Also, pic appears a bit underexposed.

Level the horizon and you've got a great shot! Love the cool colrs and I think the shot is perfectly exposed. Still going to give you a high mark despite the horizon.
