Great picture... this is one of my favorites of the challenge.

I'm blown away that you and Cutlassdude70 would drive all the way to Phoenix, via Sedona, to take pictures for this challenge. Sounds like you had a great time doing it, though, and came away with some nice pictures. I'd like to see the other pictures you guys took sometime. Maybe we will all get to go on a photo safari in AZ some day.

What an amazing story! I can't believe you drove all the way from Riverside to the Supertitions. Sounds like you had a great time. Wished I could have shared it with you. While "missing" one of the trails I hiked on was the Siphon's Draw trail!

"Incognito" describes well my experience being lost. This is a nice, cute composition. Wish the experience would have been as whimsical as this depiction. Soft focused background highlights the main subject well. I was hidden in amongst desert plants so this is an appropriate image describing where I might be, the plants just need to be thornier. :) - Steve

OhhhhhK! Believe me, I wonder to. :) I can tell you this, those beans and peas would have tasted mighty good when I was lost in the desert. Getting the can open would have been a trick but I'd have figured out something.
Btw, Elvis stopped in to see how I was doing during my delirious desert wanderings. I can accurately report that he is alive and well. Can't quite put my finger on it but your depiction of Elvis has never made him look better. ;) - Steve

Beautifully done, nice time exposure capture and good technical quality and sharpness. The smoky bluish background is nice. The starburst light on the left and the foreground silhouette add viewer interest to the composition. This image should place very high in voting.
Sometimes I felt like I was sucked into a vortex while I was lost. If it would have been here at least I could have said I got dizzy and that is why I could not find my way back out again. :) - Steve

Very, very creative idea. Like it lot. Use of the light shining up out of the box is a great idea. This is a tricky shot to pull off. The concept is fantastic but the technical execution could be a little better. The brightness from the boxlight overexposes your upper body and face a bit to much and hifting the center of focus to your face might work a little better. You are getting some reddish/yellowish color overtones on the arms and hair, but there is a way with curves and/or Hue Saturation to shift it back to natural colors. Pull me out of that box and I'll show you how to fix that with Photoshop. :)
Be careful removing me, though, and keep that outreaching hand under control. After all, I've been ALONE in the desert for a long, long time... hard telling what I might latch on to, if you know what I mean. LOL!!! You can rescue me any time! - Steve

Good general technical image quality. Like the sepia. Since the boat and the bridge support are the items that attract the most viewer attention I would like to have see them take up more image real estate, perhaps try centering the bridge support along the upper left rule of thirds intersection point and the boat aligned on the lower right rule of thirds intersection point.
I can tell you this, I felt like I was about three sheets to the wind for a lot of the time I was missing. ;) Creative interpretation of the challenge topic. - Steve
