Masterful capture. Lighting, subject, content, quality and interest are all top notch. Everything about this image is good. It is one of my personal top three picks for the challenge. Much better than the score would indicate.

Just want to tell you that this was one of my top three picks for this challenge.

My other two choices finished 1st and 2nd. Sometimes voters miss the mark and I think they did in this case.

The reasons I like it is that it is a good silhouette, the fire itself is not over exposed, it is very well composed and the grainy clouds and overall dark and morose appearance is perfect for an industrial shot. It is high quality. Congrats on a great shot.

The lighting, exposure and positioning the industrial plant cropped tightly at the bottom of the frame to hilight the rising clouds makes this a masterful composition. It is a top three image.

The lighting, the color, the content, the composition... this is just one super fine image. The only improvement would be to apply noise reduction to the sky. Despite the sky noise this should be a top 10 finisher and in the running for a ribbon.

Lacks a focal point but still interesting. It might be nice to see how arranging the most lighted area of the structure according to the ROT would affect this image.

Great abstract. Hope this is not voted down much for being "unphotographic". To complete the surrealism of the composition I would have cloned out the fire hydrant, the two light spots to the left of the near upright and the light rectangle in the shadow at the bottom of the near upright.
