Shell of a Snailby bspurgeonComment: For me it's a tad too dark and I somehow miss the separation between object and background. Could be this is because of the BW - with colors it might be different, as the background might have a different color than the shell. The dots you mention (sand?) seem to be more in focus than the shell, which is also somewhat distracting to me. |

She loves her car.by cassilda_terryComment: Great shot - too bad that I couldn't attend the GTG (or that you guys didn't have time on Sept. 6). My entry is from the Salt Flats shooting with nald, but it didn't do so well. |

_DSC0228.jpgby sulamkComment: Nice effect with the drops. I agree with the previous commenters that it looks a bit cool and that it might benefit from increased brightness. |

Macro 01by KenComment: I really like the colors in this one - the grey wood contrasting with the bright colors if the grasshopper. |

Cloveby bobonacusComment: Great colors and detail - just to nitpick a little bit, I think it would be even better without the white spot on the top right. |

Mr. Critterby sherpetComment: Amazing - I never saw this kind of beetle before. For me the water droplets make it even more interesting. |

Beach - 3by JuliBocComment: It's interesting that even you don't know what it is - it's what I like about this shot: It looks great with the light from the side and the shapes. Of course there is sand - but what is it really?? |
