There's only a small crop of about 25%, no extender tubes. Pretty much at minimum focus distance and therefore max magnification

how closely did you crop? or did you use extender tubes?
super sharp and great warm tones, good lighting as well.

That's a clever subject. They are very interesting at this distance. I like the color tones and DOF. The lighting is nice too.

Now that is close, very close indeed. The textures are strong, and also the shapes. The natural color tones work so well, and give the composition balance. Well done.
