week-8-300_0575.jpgby salmiakkiComment: I think when you view a flower in black and white, you're much more apt to see the textures, and other detail of the flower. Sometimes the color overwhelms a photo like this, and you miss a lot. This is a striking image. |

9.52 Frankfurt Hauptbahnhofby MelethiaComment: Every one of your train station shots have been great, and this one is no exception. Your processing rendered beautiful tones, and I like the feeling of movement/hustle from the people. |

Week 6 - Fairhaven High Schoolby CapeSailComment: Ah, taken with my favorite lens. I just love the distorted perspectives you can achieve with it. This one is sooo nice...the texture in the close-up part of the wall, and the stairs leading you up into the building both add to the picture. |

Week 8by chris48083Comment: Yes, this is a nice panorama, and I agree with others that it's a tad too dark. I'm not sure what software you are using, but in either PS3 or Lightroom, you can use the sliders under grayscale to lighten (or darken) "colors." Moving the slider to the left on green would lighten the lawn, and maybe the bushes some. Hope I'm not telling you something you already know...if so, please forgive me. |

Week 09 - Long wayby hajekaComment: Very nice vanishing point photo. Not only is it vanishing due to perspective, but it is fading away into the fog. Looking at the white objects others have mentioned, I'm thinking that they are birds. Beautiful photograph! |

Macro of Unknown Origin...by 777STANComment: A Pacer wheel off the car. I like the way you captured the reflective surface of the wheel without getting blown out highlights. Good job! The one thing that might have made this a little better would have been to put something behind the wheel more contrasting to the wheel...maybe something black. |

boredby BAMartinComment: I think she looks a little bored...chin resting on her hand. I like the geometric shapes of the railing, and think the DOF is perfect with the roof tiles out of focus. |
