up hillby kolasiComment: Very interesting photograph. As I look at it, I'm wondering what's going on in the minds just at that moment of the three people captured. |

Wk11_Seanby WalesPComment: I like his expression. You captured good detail, and think it's a very nice portrait. The only thing that detracts, in my opinion, is the shadow of the lamp just to the left of his face. |

Week #8by SonifoComment: What a great family moment! It is so well captured. I love the composition/crop, and your frame is perfect, too. |

fear.love.by MephistoComment: The top photo is my favorite. There is something that I really like about the open windows with the light coming in. The range of light to dark is very good. |

Week 7 - Ready to Set Sail Captainby CapeSailComment: This is really a good character portrait. Since the background is out of focus, I don't think the lack of detail in the sky detracts at all. The depth of field is just right with your subject perfectly in focus. Being in landscape layout helps tell the story a little more than if this had been tighter in using a portrait layout....(hope that makes sense). |

Wisteria by GermaineComment: I like the softness of this, but maybe could use just a tad more contrast. I think it's very interesting to take a subject that is normally photographed for it's color, and turn it into a black and white. It makes you look beyond the color to textures, shapes, and other detail that you might normally miss. I like it in black and white. |

Catching up on the news...by trevytrevComment: Ha! I agree with Brad's comment about clutter being part of life. Show me a house without some clutter (especially with kids), and it's probably a house you wouldn't want to live in. This is a great shot, and one you should save for her. I like the square crop, and see no need to go wider. |

Week 10: Peaceful Situationby jasonlpriceComment: Yes, I agree with the others...this is a very nicely composed, well processed shot. I don't think anyone would ever guess that this peaceful photo was shot in a busy lobby. |

10 - Antonioby BudComment: I think this is one of the better portraits I've seen in a long time. This is just a perfect photo for black and white, and I like your conversion a lot. Just a thought, but it seems like portraits are for the young and beautiful, or for those people with a lot of "character." |
