The DoF is too shallow here. Too much of this photo is out of focus to allow your eyes to comfortably take in the entire shot.

I really like the perspective of this shot. The DoF gives just enough detail of the water to keep it interesting, but not so much that it distracts from the duck. Only flaw I see is that there is a halo around the duck that was probably created during post processing.

I think you were a bit heavy with the dodge tool around the two top birds. I also might have cropped some off from the top and right side. With all the open space in this shot, this would help the viewer spot the birds faster.
