Tentacles of Earthby AntimattComment: This is one of those tough shots. You need to be close enough to make the subject clear, but yet give enough perspective to understand what that subject is. Some of my early challenge entries suffered this same problem. I found that I had to fight the urge to enter anyway when I couldn't get my shots just right. (Please take this in a good way, because that is how it is meant.) |

War Departmentby moheebComment: Looks like the DoF is too shallow. It makes the chair the focal point of this picture. The equipment in the foreground, which is slightly out of focus, would be much better as the main subject. |
