300_0257-wk-6.jpgby salmiakkiComment: You teach me about "light behind" and "light in front" views, the shadows from each and the tones that develop accordingly. The shadows lead away into that great expanse of snow releasing me to wander around at will. |

Week 1: Snow Wagonby jasonlpriceComment: You remind me that abandoned toys have plenty of meaning for adult viewers. The sinuous path in the garden and signs of recent activity - yet no one being there - add to the story. |

the lookoutby RetroesqueComment: The story. Stop Press. You have grabbed my attention. You remind me that that is what this is all about: grab the attention, tell the story, execute, and keep consistency. |

03 - Pair of Seagullsby ErikVComment: A single pebble on a beach. One among many. The choice of that one (or in this case two). This photo technique you teach me about and how to make that isolation within a context. |

03 Caitlinby SandyPComment: Feelings are contagious, you remind me. Your model looks warm and cozy, thoughtful and tranquil. Those feelings a transfered to the viewer as well. Like a yawn, it catches. |

Drive-In Moviesby HipychikComment: You remind me of how the ordinary, often endangered as a species, is worth capturing. In sepia it looks old - yet in bw or colour it would too. Like an average in mathematics, between the top high tech value and the bottom rustic view from the past, this falls in between. The selection process, you remind me, is what lies at the beginning of every camera click. |

Dragon's Breathby jdannelsComment: You remind me that the void is a useful part of composition. The single dead trunk and the silvery tone all over work together to make this an image to which I find it hard to attach words. But that is the whole point. A picture tells a thousand words.... you did. |

#3 - Graze and Glowby colorcarnivalComment: An intimate moment in the forest and the deer sees the viewer. Perfectly static moment. The wild faces the tame. Your remind me that it is special unrepeatable moments like this which make for great photos. |

Whitby Abbeyby SaraRComment: You teach me that simple shapes often constitute modern icons. Limited as the detail is, the scene is revealed in depth and the mind completes the picture. |
