Her Indulgenceby scarbrdComment: Took a long time till I saw those toes, this is actually the second time I come for a look-see and to comment. I like the shot, but would like to make two suggestions. I think it would render the atmosphere better if there was less light, it would be more sensual that way. And then there are almost too many things on display and they are spread out. But as I said, I like it. |

Grabby UrfaKComment: If only a little bit of this shot was in focus, would have made a huge difference. I sense some very good colours here, but it's to out of focus for me. |

the other me.by KMurattiComment: I do love blown out shots, but this one goes a bit too far. The idea is good though. |

Indulging in yarnby brookepiComment: I simply love the colours on display here. I am very unsure about the focus, but since I have no suggestion as to how it could be different :), it wont drag this down. 8 from me already, I just had to come back to comment. |

"Have you seen HOW FAR it is to the finish line?!"by front_elementComment: Originally posted by pidge:

Where (IMHO) this picture falls short, is in relation to the challenge. Voters tend to be picky when it comes to meeting this challenge, and without the title, meeting the challenge isn't terribly obvious.
The composition is fine, but because of it's close-up straight on cropping, you get no sense of the 'distance' that they have unexpectedly found.
Long story short, I think you got voted down because some voters MAY have perceived this as a shoehorn into the challenge.

I agree and take the liberty to use those words. If you look at some of the masterpieces on dpc, many of them get 1's and 2's and 3's. Let's face it, some photographers here give low scores, apparently they are very much better than the best here and regrettably, they seldom leave comments with those low scores, guess they do not want to share their secret knowledge of photography with the rest of us.
You got a 6 from me and I know I was on the verge of giving you a 7. I think it is a good capture, and I love your sence of humour.
You are welcome to look at my entry in this challenge. I thought it was spot on, but one of the commenters seems to have talking/reading walls all around :-)
Don't let this worry you, it says more about certain dpc'ers than it says about your unexpected entry. Message edited by author 2006-06-18 06:46:50. |

Me Myself and I by terjeComment: Veldig god og tillykke med den røde.
Mange gode fotos i din profil Terje. |
