| Ahhh! I was so upset with this picture. We had guests at our house the day the challenge ended and I hadn't done my picture in advance so I ended up taking it the night it was due. Unfortunately, in my haste to get the photo in on time (I got it on my computer around 11:57pm) I submitted the WRONG picture and left my beautiful creamy dark chocolate picture on my computer desktop.... I had been playing around with a few ideas and took a ton of "tester shots" to see what different things would look like on the computer, and of course I submitted one of the worst versions. I got so many comments about how bad the lighting was and I just wanted to say "I know! I agree! Wrong picture!!" but I guess that's just how it goes. Oh well... |

| In my opinion, too much and too harsh a light. It looks like it was lit by the flash which was too close to the subject. Maybe try natural light or a separate light source off to the side and at a lower angle. |

| lights too hot and strong. A soft box or even a homemade defuser wight help. |

| Good subject choice. Lighting is a little harsh so if leaves the shot very flat. Maybe an indirect light source off to one side would have worked better to bring out the shadows and highlights of the subject. |

| good idea but could have set it up in a more interesting manner + play with the colors a bit + make the light smoother ; those reflections really ruin it :( |

| Looks yummy! The reflection of the flash on the chocolate is a little harsh--it makes it have an orangish hue. |

| I don't like the color of the chocolate. I know brown is a difficult color to capture. I tried it. |

| the color cast and the flash makes the chocolate very un-appetizing - thats the problem with food. :) focus and comp works. POV a little flat. |

| definitely one of the good ones this challenge.. I would have liked a little less more separation of the colours between the object but still a godd pic |
