Thanks for all the comments. I had a great deal of fun with this shot, as well as enjoyed devouring the prop! I think for this site, I should have chosen a different backdrop color, however my monitor shows the chocolate very clearly. To appreciate it however, requires well calibrated monitors as several "too dark" comments show. I don't think I will tailor my shots that much for the competition as my goal is to print what shows, not hedge shots for all monitors. I am happy with the response to this. The bottom right corner of the background should be a little lighter than the upper left, showing a faint diagonal crossing from lower left to upper right.

I'm having trouble beliving this didn't do better, it was the only one in the challenge that I scored 10. I thought met the subject perfectly, the composition is excellent and elegant in its simplicity, and the technical aspects were well executed, especially given the difficult extremes of contrast in the image. I thought you should have ribboned. Oh well.

This is a nice example of an indulgence. Nice job on the cookie and strawberry. The chocolate looks amazing.

Nice "setup". A light-colored background may be a better fit for the chocolate.

I like the composition...the textures, the colors.....but that title is not good. Not to worry, I dont include that when I vote.

I wish the strawberry and the chocolate were brighter than the white cookie. Dunno if that's possible or not. Decent shot.
