Macro of Unknown Origin...by 777STANComment: Thanks, Ecce! I take it as a high compliment that you gave me good marks on my border. Actually, I backed into that one because of late I have been practicing the border by highlighting and area of faocus with the rectangle marquee, then selecting inverse, copying to a new layer, and then playing with saturation, contrast/brightness to get to the intended black border. (I know that there are easier ways to get a black border, but I often like to do things the hard way for the sheer love of learning, often by mistake like this border.)
Also, I am very grateful that my editing has improved to the level that nobody caught what I did to the "blown-out" spots. To the upper left-hand side of the inner circle there is a black sliver of a "moon" above which is gray blurry section. In the original, it was really white! So, I messed around with texturizing techniques, Blur/Smudge Tool at various opacities, plus contrast/brightness, and even chrome filter (but that didn't work, so I backed out and went with plastic wrap filter, of all things...)
It's called thinking "outside of the box," or in my case "thinking outside of the atmosphere!" :} |

Your-Chariot-Awaits---Take-Your-Pick!by 777STANComment: I would be honored to own these elegant Classy Ladies, but no...they are not mine. For the past couple of years, a man owning a body detailing shop in town has parked these majesties in front. Their environment/background cause me a great deal of work (i.e.hideous power/telephone lines, etc.) Yet, just about every classic lady you see in my collection here @ DPC is from his shop.
Please, keep on enjoying them! Thanks! :) |

The Heart of a Thoroughbred by JudiComment: Congratulations, Ms. Judi! Magnificent animal! Great shot! :)
My last foot race was run on a horsetrack in Florida...5K as I recall to benefit Breast Cancer Research (i.e. called "Race for The Cure".)
An amazing circumstance with excellent scenery, but hooo, Boy! I am soooooo out-of-shape! I posted a shot I took there in the last Minimal Edit Challenge I entered here...Sure gives a sense of accomplishment to do something great for others! :) |
