Well, here is my attempt at Gary Larsony...or...at the very least it qualifies for Garish Larceny! :} I set up my wonderful Pentax K-1000 on a barstool covered with a photographer's black drape. Four files, Four usages of Timer, Four changes of clothes, Four expressions/personalities to spoof one actual Gary Larson comic strip. What fun!
Since I had the dubious honor of my first two D.Q.'s ever (Hopefully my only two ever) "back to back", I was unceremoniously "drop-kicked" out of the Gary Larson challenge. ("O, tears on my pillow, please someone tell me Why! Why! Why!"...You know sing-songy delivery...yadda yadda yadda) Anyhoooo, I decided, "Hang it all! I'll just do a picture up right without any rules & just post it in my portfolio. I should be ready with some very good ideas,...if we ever do a Gary Larson tribute again.
Don't worry! I am still painfully aware that my post-process skills leave a great deal to be desired. However, I think it's a pretty good first attempt along the road of R & D to acceptable digital darkroom technician.
By if a Site Council member happens to get lost & wander across this page, please know that I am always very careful in my legit entries. That is why I have spent a few days with "my head in a hyperventilation bag" before making this attempt at humor and "keeping things light."
The fact that I scrutinize my own work so severely proves that I didn't know what you consider to be the "boundary lines" of Qualified. This has been a terribly painful way to learn those boundaries. However, your message has been "logged & noted."
