New Springby angelfireComment: I agree with your assessment of your photo. These are excellent Dogwood Tree blooms.
They are great object lessons to explain the resurrection of Jesus in the spring of every year. Always four petals "scarred" with wounds to depict the four wounds Jesus endured in His two hands as well as His head & His feet. Then there's the cluster at the "heart" to symbolize the new life that came from His heart/Eternal Transaction.
