The story I see: the woman in the left is telling the one on the right that the new bride is a bad girl. The one on the right is thinking about it, she doubts, but nothing can be done...she has to marry her son, whatever the neighbors say.
Good photo of something bad: gossiping...I guess...

This was my highest rated photo in this challenge (with three other shots). I am not happy to see it so low in the ratings. I think that this is one of the best representations of bad. And it has doe it in a very good way, a way that everyone is familiar (or should be, if everyone was a kid once). The cry is so honest, the tears... It's a snapshot, but that's what makes this shot even better, in my eyes.
Many good moments to Jasmine and happy riding.

Thanks for having a look at this photo. Believe me, it's better than you think...well, if you don't believe me, than just think about it...anyway.
This photo is good just because it has no subject, no golden sun, no islands, no silhouettes, no beaches...it's just our planet, wrongly named Earth...
And, what the hell does Planet Ocean cares if some hairless monkeys start feeling hot?

I find this to be your most interesting photo. There is really some good motion between the gate, the leading lines, the shadows, and your model. The mood in terms of colour fits nicely to the mood in her face. And I love the light, partial as it is, with all teh shadows, all over her body and face.

I think this is one of the most educational shots in DPC. I mean this in terms that this photo could really be on National Geographic (I'm just stating my opinion, I'm no editor and never was and I don't know how it works). If not there, this could be on any biology books dealing with ecosystems and such things. A lovely photo, a lovely story.

I just opened your last free study and a flower appeared. The first impression was: o man, a flower on a free study. But then I saw the star at the water droplet and thought "that's a nice touch, adding to the cliché". You know that this is perfectly done in terms of the technique, lightning, composition (although, more negative space would be better, I guess...also, some arrangements of the petals, so that they don't cover each other).
But, it's a nice photo, a chance to relax... I can easily see this in any calendar or wall of a florist.

I like how the moving hand add dynamism to the stoic eyes of this man. A very good expressive photograph. In contrast to another commenter, I don't like the wall and would loved if it was blurred. The hat and the clothes give me the information I need to know about the environment of this person, so I don't need to wall, which I find redundant.
What I don't like is the desaturated colours: I wish there were more colour or none at all.
Anyhow, a very good photo.

A lovely image, a lovely model, a lovely smile.
A not so lovely square format. The watch isn't lovely also. The colours, get rid of them and convert this to black and white. Burn the background, so that I can see only the face and the smile. And, work on the title.
Maybe a too late comment, but this is the best from the photos on your front page. In my opinion.

I like how there isn't a sharp defined horizon, how the reflections are blurred, while the subjects are sharp (maybe too sharp?), and how the coldness of the colours make me feel calm while watching this photo. Now, as for the subjects, I think there are too many and too scattered away, but the good thing is that they are too small. And the best thing is that there's a big piece of something there on the right, so that it doesn't let my attention go completely off.

The idea of photography is painting with light... I guess... At least, that's what the words mean. So, kudos to you for trying it. As you know better than I do, experimenting and producing is the key to quality. I'd like to see more photos in this section of your portfolio. Try with light low, try with two lights, try with many light sources... Bring the table close to the window on a sunny day. Just do it...
