 This is a picture that was never meant to be. Originally intended as a light drawing exercise, the light that I was using was simply not powerful or precise enough to make the tracks that I needed. Instead it added a kind of misty glow, and I dragged this shot out of the raw conversion by playing with the white balance settings.

The idea of photography is painting with light... I guess... At least, that's what the words mean. So, kudos to you for trying it. As you know better than I do, experimenting and producing is the key to quality. I'd like to see more photos in this section of your portfolio. Try with light low, try with two lights, try with many light sources... Bring the table close to the window on a sunny day. Just do it...
