Cowspaceby RemieComment: just a suggestion, occasionally it helps to use the selective color and replace color filters (which are legal) in photoshop to enhance colors (blues, greens) and wash out others (magenta, yellow). doing this before despeckling can leave the rest of the photograph less fuzzy, if the noise is uniform enough. or i guess just overexpose a smidgen if the cows arent moving. this is otherwise a great picture, and that is the reason im taking the time to stop and comment on it. |

last stopby jonathansComment: yes, it is a tounge in cheek reference to the wtc site (apparently that joke is as jaded as everyone else, and it only took a year). however. i didnt know that sign was there; i was just on my way to go jogging in central park. i didnt mean to catch the moving subway train and i dont have a clue where that flag came from because i didnt check to see if it was a reflection. i thought the rest of the station was far away enough to be blurred into being 'negative space' but when i looked at all the pictures the ones without the train in them were retarded. |

a friday night poundlostingby jonathansComment: i think if you dont understand why the computer is in the picture or what poundlosting could possibly be, it would be natural to assume they were related. that should be all you need for context in a free study challenge. otherwise, every challenge might as well be an advertisement one.
had i put more light on the bottle, the screen's reflection thereon would have been washed out.
this defeats the purpose of the photo; to express my interest in drinking while in front of my computer. Message edited by author 2003-01-31 01:27:21. |
