Moonlit Pierby kgearyComment: It's one of the few water pics here where blur of waves actually creates notions of stillness, not movement. Nice picture, but doesn't hit the tune of the challenge, imho |

Blueby Rino63Comment: What can possibly classify it as motion? Blur of slopping water at the boulders? It's so timid that the first impression is actually one of stillness, not movement |

Waterby sabphotoComment: Nice landscape. But I have a feeling it doesn't have much chance among another 30 or so attempts to use water as motion blur. Just too obvious. |

Greyledge Fallsby SJCarterComment: Gees, that's so common! Good pic, no worries, but its connection to the challenge is ever so superficial. |

Othersideby sephick911Comment: Definetely mental. More sharpness on lips and fingers would improve it - feels like focal plane is a bit too far out. But what it lacks technically it certainly has in emotion. |

S P L A S Hby hannekeComment: Looks like it's a comment I am going to use widely - but how are we to tell if there was a single light source without being experts on studio lighting? I am not and ready to state this. This picture has an impression of broad, and therefore omnidirectional light and seems to be contradicting the challenge. Nice shot nevertheless. |

Memoirsby LalliSigComment: Nice pic, but not what I term single source. Yeah, it probably was coming out of very large lightbox or something, but isn't that akin to using overcast skies and claiming this was a single source too? |

A Magical Place by SherwinJamesComment: Great! A minor improvement would be upping the center of the flower a fraction of f stop to make it separate from background. But very good idea indeed! First time I am ready to lavish praise on the very first shot I see in a challenge. |

flamesby HeidieComment: How interesting - I was looking at this picture from my office, my sight slightly defocused... I can swear it became 3D! Very good shot. |
