I love the composition of this shot, and the colors are spectacular. I feel slightly tilted to the left(dont you just hate those comments!) But I like the way the bench lean draws me to the subject.

Greetings from the critique club. First let me tell you that I feel you met the challenge perfectly. This is certainly abstract. When I look at it I almost get the feeling of this being from the moon. I think your photo suffers from a bit too much noise, likely from what appears underexposure which is common with macros due to lack of light being able to get to the lens. I'd suggest using a couple of hot lights one on each side to help light this. Overall you did well especially considering what appears to be a heavily cropped photo. Good luck in future challenges.

I like this shot, however I wish it wasnt dead center and so close. The background may not have allowed it, but a wider shot with more of the surroundings might have done better.

Stump Sledding

I'm not sure I understand what stump sledding is, and I dont see a single tree that would make the photo fit the challenge. The subject seems to be the person in the photo. Although its a very nice photo I'm not sure it actually fits the subject.
