liftby sixmacsComment: The flame isn't a strong enough subject to be the only colored part. Sky is really grainy also... try using Neatimage to fix that. |

A Brighter Day Comingby LENWOODBLUZComment: Cool. You should have exaggerated the rainbow colors a lot more. And possibly clone out the cars and the power tower in the background. I really like the tree leaves in the foreground cause it goes well with the rainbow. |

I love Tommyby doctornickComment: Wow, the b&w exposure looks perfect, and the red is as well. Not over done at all. |

Rainy Dayby SonifoComment: Looks a little grainy. Great subject, although it would have been better if you snapped it before they walked in front of the tree. |

Blue skyby MotoCycleBoiComment: Nice contrast between the perfectly colored flag against the dark cloudy sky. |

Beachby GolferDDSComment: Looks like some blue stuff around the green plant, and it (the plant) looks over saturated. Not sure what went wrong here. :( |

Honeybeeby scalvertComment: Excellent, glad you didn't desaturate the flower, just the background is enought to make the subjects jump out at you. I would have desaturated the blurred flower in the background however. |

Awaiting Enlightenment by kosmikkreeperComment: It IS the exact same spot... If you notice the 2nd picture (3rd place) is a 180 degree rotation of the first shot. :) Notice the foreground rocks are on the right in "Fisherman" and in this one they are on the left.
No problem with me, they are two great shots and deserve the ribbons, good team effort! |

Fender Stratocaster by ChrisW123Comment: Peggy, it was really tough to get the whole thing in focus. I used a 28mm (or less) teleconverter lens, and the highest Fstop possible. Then I moved back as far as possible and took about 20 or 30 shots, focusing on all different parts of the guitar until I saw a pic that looked focused on the entire length.
The great color on the guitar came from the walls of my living room area which is kind of a tan/yellowish color! And the light was natural (right side) from the sliding doors to the outside.
Glad you like it!
