Darth Vader of the Insect Worldby CamazineComment: Looks more like Darth Maul to me, but hey who cares? That's one scary looking bug!
This shot is awesome. Just as I start to tire of endless bug macros along comes a gem like this. |

In The Beginningby jmsetzlerComment: The universe is a marble and 'God' is a big wooden figure. I can relate : )
On a serious note, I like that the figure and desaturation means that 'God' is portrayed as having no discernable gender, race, or colour.
Photo-wise, the composition, focus/DoF and exposure (especially the blown out area on the left side of the marble) are all spot on. Not 100% sure about the yellow, would be interesting to play about with hue-shifting that. Still, gotta give this full marks. |

lined 1_border_s.jpgby KoriyamaComment: I preferred your entry. For me it's the lighting that made that shot, and it just doesn't seem as effective in this one. Still, very moody, and very good. |

Life Eventsby dsa157Comment: A little washed out, but the composition is great and focus/DoF is right on the mark. |

I think I saw something on rock #42!by zummerComment: Big bonus points for the HHGTTG reference ; )
The composition is a little 'spaced out' (ouch, bad pun alert!) for me. Personally I would have placed the rock on the paper to try and tighten things up. The reflected light on the glass is also something I would have tried to get rid of.
Good luck in your quest. Let us know if you ever find out what the question actually is! |

Off The Lip by ScottKComment: Awesome, and with an A40 too! There's me expecting a 10D with a big-ass zoom strapped to the front.
A reluctant well done 'cos I'm still jealous of how close you got ; ) |
