| I like the low key approach,very nice light and low contrast, I see this one hanging on a Chess club wall somewhere! |

| I preferred your entry. For me it's the lighting that made that shot, and it just doesn't seem as effective in this one. Still, very moody, and very good. |

I think it would be best composed like your entry, but without the motion blur. In other words, with the pawn moved out a little.
