Slices of fruit placed on a glass-top table on a white sheet of paper, and backlit with regular desk lamp from below.

In Photoshop, levels and saturation adjusted to clear the texture of the paper, but retain the fruit structure, and sharpened.

The glass of the table got so hot that the fruit partially cooked during the photoshoot, so it ended up a bit fuzzy.

The lighting shows the internal texture of both fruits clearly, and both would be interesting by themselves. Putting them together to compare their similarities and differences makes a great photo.

I had a similar idea with a lemon, lime and an orange. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to pull it off. I like your shot however.

Very nice... another example of three bold colors that go well together.

Wow, delicious use of colours and textures here. Great background. I'd love to know the setup behind this shot. The heart-shaped strawberry was a lovely idea. Not 100% sure about the composition though. 9

Cute. Very pretty. Maybe a different colour background or a boarder?

I love creative minds because I am not the creative type. When I look at your photo, I say to myself, "Wow! What a neat idea! It's so interesting. You'd never think of this in a million years!"

I just love this -- the colors -- the constrast-- the focus -- the white background -- the subjects!

GREAT JOB!

Cute idea, title. Love how you did the lighting..very nice work. The focus is a wee bit soft but this is good work. Good color combo.

Excellent combination of colors. Really like the pure white background too. I must learn how to light subjects from underneath like that. Jacko. 9

I like the visual presentation and the colors here. not as sharp as I would like to see but works very well. how did you light this? I tried working with citrus fruit previously and didn't get as nice results as you have created.
