Love those bold yellows that pop of the blue-green background. That pretty yellow, spring flower does take center stage in this photo. This just sings Springtime! |

Love the soft pastels of the pink flowers. The bokeh really compliments the composition for it projects the feeling of downy softness of the flowers and a soft breeze. Great detail on the petals of the flower in the foreground. |

Cherry Blossom Seasonby h2Comment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Absolutely beautiful! Love the soft pinks of the blossoms that contrast with the springtime blue of the sky. Composition is also great with the main branch of the blossom cutting across the frame at a diagonal. BTW, little jealous that you got to see the cherry blossoms full bloom glory as that they were still in the bud stage when I was visiting out in D.C. |

Tribute to: Edvard Munch – The Screamby sjhulsComment: This...is....BLOODY BRILLIANT! What a great expression captured in that vase! Lighting is fabulous with some nice tack sharp details of the edges of the glass and the wide eyes. Only critique is that I wish that more of the backdrop was like the scream with the black bottom portion it looks a bit unfinished. Still great idea and great lighting. |

Untitledby IAmEliKatzComment: I had to look to see if there were any details. I see that Jutilda thought the same thing I did when viewing the thumbnail:-) This gent sort of looks like Adam Levine.
The photo has good bones it just needs a little more polish to make it shine. A closer crop from the shoulders on up and sharper focus on the face to get tack sharp details would make this a great portrait. |

Just not my styleby ace flymanComment: Hey Joe! Congrats on the top ten finish. What our pets put up with when one makes them the model. He has the look of 'Really, can I be done now." Hope you gave your doggie a very good treat for all the modeling work. |

Off The Beaten Path by ColeyComment: Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Whimsical and quirky - very much the style of...Coley!!!:-) Love the quirky whimsy of this shot. Technicals and PP are well done but there is just one thing that I felt would have made this shot a 10 instead of a 9. I think there is too much house and not enough attention focused on the main subject riding the bike. I think a closer rectangular crop where the line of the lower roof is coming out of the bottom left corner would have improved the composition. It would have given us a much up close and personal view of the Roof Rider and shown off alot more details on your main subject. |

aparitionby tangueraComment: Gotta love the light that softly illuminates the surroundings and subject! Morning Mood is what plays in my head when viewing this. I do wish more of the subject's face was visible - not totally, just a slight tilt of the head to show us a near side profile that she is looking out the window with ....longing or daydreaming. Still it's a great shot - I was one of your 7's. |

Yesterday.by LydiaComment: Congrats on such a wonderful capture - love the beautiful gold tones and mood of this one. The beauty of yesterday wilts away - there is such longing and lingering in this piece. |
