Day 6by renegade1966Comment: I like the subtle play of light on the foreground trees in this shot; the gentle framing of the distant city is a really nice effect. |

i heart laundry.by ShannonLeeComment: Neat image; I like the outtake better, too; working on something you see in the image (the heart) and bring it out is a great way to find stuff that's worth seeing. Thanks for starting the project! |

Feb-6-New-Hope-PA.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: I really like this one; I need to get some more comments done but keep looking at it. The color, the composition, the sky, excellent -- and I'll not make any jokes about how it's a pic of PA and not NJ, 'cause you've had great NJ pics here already (but I was sorely tempted) |

Day 4: Pennsylvania Avenueby levyj413Comment: You have a great voice, both to your text story telling and in your image, and though your images can stand on their own, the text adds something beyond a simple "here you have a" type text; I'm looking forward to seeing more of your images and reading more of your stories. |

day4.jpgby HipychikComment: I love this image; the fence is the only downside, as I see it, though the clouds could be a tiny bit less bright in spots (some individual work on those might bring them in line). Still, made it a favorite for the composition and the toning; brilliantly done! |

Treeby RetroesqueComment: Neat image, and I like how you've played with it; when I first saw it it looked like two trees were holding hands!
/mild hijack/ The power company wanted to take down a bunch of trees on my dad's property; came by, walking along, marking them, and he went out and told them to get off of his property. They said they had the right to be there, and were taking down a bunch of his trees. He told them to prove it, or else next time they showed up he was calling the police for trespassing (they offered no proof they were allowed to be there, other than pointing at the power lines and saying, "those are ours"). The trees we planted when I was young are still growing ;) I hope yours stays around, too! /mild hijack/ |

Fanby RetroesqueComment: I love it, great image; I love seeing photographs that see something that I might have missed, or see it in a different way, as you've done here (as others have already said). I might have been tempted to rotate this maybe 1 or 2 degrees counter-clockwise (or anti-clockwise, if you prefer). The left side is straight, but the right is the tiniest bit off (but if you rotated, it would converge a touch toward the bottom, and I'm not that would be better, just different). |

Commuteby RetroesqueComment: I could have sworn I put a comment here (in my attempt to catch up on commenting), but I haven't. Sorry I'm so far behind! Anyway, before my mind goes on the fritz again, let me say I like this image. You've done a nice job with the lighting, especially given the time of day and the nasty (ie, yellow) lights on the platform, which give a nice feel to the it. I like the angle and the composition, too. |

Church Day 4by KatmystiryComment: I'm not a huge fan of silhouettes (I see so many on DPC that I've even learned to spell it properly), but this one works well, especially with the light in the steeple. Hand held; wow. Nicely done. |
