I am captivated and puzzled by this image at the same time. The shallow DOF is both captivating and then troubling, I can't figure out if its eal or artificial. Nevertheless, its a fascinating image

Oh this is a lovely candid study which makes it such a pity that you have cropped out the environment. Only your title tells us about the bus and the title on its own is not strong enough

This is one powerful image. Your lighting on your subject is technically excellent as you've got under the hat and shown all of the face. I do like the way that you have darked off the background. It's unnatural but a really good visual effect that doesn't detract from the result but enhances it. You do have a halo around his right shoulder where the mask is and that might cost you a point or two in the voting.

Now this is just whaat the challenge ordered. The environment is interesting and you have ensured that we can see that by lighting and including it in focus. the lighting here is brilliant. I know it looks casual and it might be but it is even across the whole portrait including the subject with just a stop difference. I don't know if this is going to score well but it should for it extreme technical competence. I was going to be bugged by the centreed composition but the overall effect of he image over-rode that. This deserves to be a full page illustration in a magazine article

Ahhh, very very good. It has a surreal look to it but it works. The lighting is strong and direct but that serves to isolate the subjects. I hope this does well
