Well done on the novel approach to the theme, but you should have cropped the buildings and sky since they just take away from your statement.

Idle ducks

If only you had waited a moment for the swan to drift out of sho, or even just crop it out this would have been a very good shot, perhaps cropping a little bit off the bottom of the pic as well to help composition wise (rule of thirds). The ducks are just distinct enough but not too obvious to overpower the subject of a submerged branch. As it is though the swan has completely stolen the show and spoiled the theme imo, and robbed you of a very high mark.

Without the title there's no indication that this is a branch of the railline. A junction would have made this reference clear for the viewer. A different approach but could have been more clear.

Very well caught, nicely composed, balancing the delicacy of the bird with an equally delicate line of the branch. I do worry that the bird has stolen the limelight here though.
