i saw it firstby GiorgioComment: This is such a startling stare you've captured and for that alone, I think it works great as an image! Very nice overall. It probably scored low because viewers couldn't understand how it represents Pride. Maybe you could explain a little. Altho' voting is over, it'll open up our minds a little as to how different people see pride. :) |

Uhhumm..all ready for Hallow's Eve - no need for pumpkins!by elee3009Comment: Thanks everyone for the appreciative comments and the votes (good or bad). This "face" was really just mocking me and daring me to enter this challenge. It's been really interesting to learn how different personification can mean to different people. :)
Re the fern leaf, yeah, agree with some of you that it's very distracting. This was actually my first shot and I tried several dozen others after by pushing the fern down and at different angles. But when I uploaded to my PC, I found that the overall quality of the light and focus was really better with the first one. |

you never notice meby mandyturnerComment: Under-rated. This is so hauntingly sad. If I look at it long enough, I would really end up with goose bumps! Would love to know how you pulled it off. |

Opaque View of the Outside Worldby ergoComment: Just caught this in your portfolio and saw the related challenge theme. Can't believe how tremendously under-rated it was. I think this shot says so much: the obsolete old building and the values that go with it, to be replaced or overshadowed by a cheap-looking billboard and all the "non-values" that go with that ... Maybe I read too much into an image but I love images that seem to communicate something and if I even succeed just by half to do the same with mine, I'd be happy, which is not the case at the moment :(

Rainy Windowby JutildaComment: Loved reading how you did it. Very inspirational and I like the high contrast and expression on your face! It all comes together nicely. That never happens for me when I try a self-portrait. :( |

October feastby BrianRComment: Just a snapshot and not a very good one: too far, too small and it's tilted. Can't see how it's a feast. |

Lots of Loving !by TheresaAComment: Cute dog but 2 things don't seem right: expression in the eyes is more of a plea and the nose is very dominant which doesn't help. Looks a bit over-exposed too. |
