Content-Composition

A bit surprised that this scored under five! I think that your idea is good and "Waldo" is well hidden. Is your friend moving, or is the snow which makes her kind of out of focus? Either way, it is effective. Composition is good, there is a good balance.

Technique

The colours seem a little washed out, was it actually snowing at the time? If so, I can understand the overall fuzziness. Perhaps a little more contrast would have added a bit more imapct and I wonder if a bit more sharpening would help the individual trees stand out.

My opinion

I think that this is a lovely snowy scene, perhaps a bit more detail would be good. You have met the challenge well and taken a lovely picture. Good Luck in the next challenge.

Really great idea and composition, the person seems to be "hiding" in a good place as far as rule of thirds, but perhaps it is a little obvious, maybe if he could have been hidden a bit more...

Technical
Great focus, overall good quality. i think that the lighting is a little harsh, the details of the golf balls have been lost, perhaps toning it down a bit would have been good. However the overall lighting is even. The main thing about this shot, is the border, just too bright! I know that you had lots of comments about it, I don't think you lose points over it, but a simple black border, with perhaps a tiny yellow one inside would have been good.

My Opinion
I think that your composition and idea are great, it is eye-catching and original. Personally, I am not a golf fan, so it doesn't really appeal to me but it is colourful and meets the challenge well. Good Luck in the next challenge.

Whats this doing all the way down here! I thought that it was really cool, very abstract but excellent colours, composition and it's original! You never can tell what is going to work with the voters!

This is really interesting, great shapes and lovely background colours and patterns, just feel that it would be better rotated 180 degrees.

I love the abstract nature of this, wonderful lighting and DOF, something ver mystical about this shot.
