In the Roundby robaComment: The gray of the background sky throws me off. It's a neat scene, but I'm working on the purpose. Just sorta wacky like an album cover? or are we to get more out of it? 6 |

Simplicityby IvoComment: Nice composition. Breaks the rule of halfway horizon with a purpose. Tiny nitpick, ditch the watch. 7 |

Beginningby LevTComment: Nice trick shot. The star adds nicely. A small nitpick, but my eye wants the bulb a bit to the right, maybe so the edge is past the crack. Still, it's well done and I don't get any sense of the wires that were used to light the bulb. 8 |

After the Stormby wildirisComment: I like wave shots so much. Nice choice of shutter speed. Gives both enough blur for motion, but not too much to obliterate that wave. On my monitor the pink on the right was pushed perhaps a tiny bit too far. It almost looks neon to me. The rock adds a nice focal point. 7 |

Man with cigarby edmengComment: The cigar seems to be coming out of his mouth at a weird angle. Could be the lighting is hiding some of the bottom of the cigar. I'd also think about not having the cigar off the end of the canvas. Lighting is good though. Nice thoughtful expression. 6 |

Soaring at Sunset Over 10,000 Islandsby yakatmeComment: Two issues. One, I'm looking for a bit more contrast at the horizon. Two, my eye looks for a focal point to land on and can't find one. It's still a well done shot, especially from a plane. 6 |

The Blue Desertby RistyzComment: Nice composition. Clean, crisp colors. Almost exactly the same thing I said about the last one. ;) DPC to a tee. I can't fault that at all, although my 9s and 10s are going to shots that stir something within. 7 |

A Welcome Respiteby KenComment: Seen this place before. :) Can't remember if it was MAK or Marbo or someone else. Clear, crisp colors. Simple and uncluttered with nice flow. The stars add nicely. On the downside, it's perhaps too aseptic. Pretty, but where's the depth of thought a picture can conjure? 7 |

Country Lifeby sir_bazzComment: First one up. Nicely done. The seeds floating in the air give that extra feeling of time. Although most portraits do best with eye contact, this one does just fine. |
