Looking for 3 things in a "milk splash" picture...1) Is the object in focus? (no) Is the splash well frozen (mostly) and 3) is the splash defined against the background (yes). There appears to be a cast to your milk though which takes away from the picture. 6

Looking for 3 things in a "milk splash" picture...1) Is the object in focus? (can't see it here) 2) Is the splash well frozen (yes) and 3) is the splash well defined against the background (no). The splash is lost in the high key white. The oreos are also OOF. Nice attempt though, I do like the martini glass idea.

Looking for 3 things in a "milk splash" picture...1) Is the object in focus? (well, we can't see it here) 2) Is the splash well frozen (not bad) and 3) is the splash defined against the background (well done). I'm not crazy about the brownish shadow though so minor points off there. 7.

I'm looking for 3 things in a "milk splash" 1) object in focus (not quite here) 2) splash frozen well (check) and 3) Splash defined against background (also check). Points off for the pink cast of the milk though and the more or less boring bowl. 6.

I was looking for 3 things in a "milk splash" pictutre. 1) object in focus (well, we can't see it here) 2) milk frozen well (check) and 3) splash defined against background. You picture gets away with this well because it isn't trying to define the milk splash against a milk background. I'm not too crazy about the angle of composition, but I'll give you a 7 for the attempt.

I'm looking for 3 things on "milk splash" plctures. 1) Object in focus (check), 2) splash captured without motion blur (check) 3) splash defined against background (nope). The top portion of the splash is lost in the background. It also looks like the milk has a color cast to it (or the cookie was sitting in it for a while). Not a bad attempt though. There were lots which were worse. 6.

There were two strawberry in cream pictures and I'm afraid the other is superior. The splash capture here isn't bad, but the image is overexposed which leads to less detail or contrast between the splash and background. Your object is in focus, which is nice, and more than many other "milk splash" pics in the challenge. 7.

The splash capture isn't bad. There is a little overexposure which makes the dribble down the front very non-detailed. The oreos are not all in focus either. 6.

Yes! I am currenlty evaluating all the "milk splash" pictures at once. This one is excellent. Good capture of the slpash, the object is in focus, and the image doesn't have blowout in the important detail areas. 9.

It looks like you may have been limited by your equipment. The splash is motion blurred (too long exposure) and the object is OOF (too low an f-stop). Nice attempt though. I think the people who really pulled of "milk splashes" in this challenge had access to some heavy duty lighting.
