This was very well done and should have finished higher. Congratulations on your top twenty finish.

Good composition. I'm a bit confused by the orange-blue gradient, but it doesn't take away from the image. One of the better splashes. 9.
Bumping up - 10.

Wow! Colour, value contrast, composition, lighting, capturing the action, this photo's got it all! Great demonstration of the challenge topic.

This is a perfect example of "How to catch a splash". I love it.

I like how the dark glass/bowl makes really shows how the milk thins near the top of teh splash.

The only thing that I would have changed would be the dark corner in the very top right.

Nice capture. I really likehow you captured the shadow on the splash. It offsets the transperancy of the top of the splash really nicely. Excellent picture.

Well done! I really like the transparency of the splash, although a peek as what's making that splash would be nice, too. 9

I love all the colors in this and the transparancy of the splash, and the shapes in the splash!
I would give it a 10 if some part of it were in crisp focus.

Wow. I'm sure you're going to peg 1st or 2nd with this one!

I love the transparency in the liquid. How did you do that? were you using skim milk or...? Great job. 10 from me!

Excellent capture!! This would be a 10 for me if the milk wasn't off color.

7 - Good light capture and I like colors. This shot has much more potential though, in my opinion. Centering, angle, 'height', etc. I like the focal point though.

Looking for 3 things in a "milk splash" picture...1) Is the object in focus? (well, we can't see it here) 2) Is the splash well frozen (not bad) and 3) is the splash defined against the background (well done). I'm not crazy about the brownish shadow though so minor points off there. 7.

Great job with the splash. If you do the photo again, use whole milk. This stuff looks watery.

milk seems a little watery in this photo. It might be my monitor as im at work. I love the "twisting tendrils" of milk though. Nice capture.

I gave this image a 9 and not a 10 for one reason; it is by far not original. However it is greatly technically wonderful. I have seen so many splashes on this challenge but this one is so nice in that it captures the blue from the cup so well at the top of the splash. I am sure with the slight delay of the shutter it was not a simply capture. There must have been many takes to get it just right and it is great. So enjoy my Nine.

Nice capture of the milk splash. I find the highlights on the rim a bit distracting, but still a very nice shot. Well done.

the color variation in this is cook... rim of bowl/glass seems out of focus, though, which is kind of annoying IMO
