I don't know, I kind of feel like the red, as bright as it is, draws my attention away from too must of the other stuff in the image that is good. But then if you put the entire thing in b/w then the rail might just look out of place. I'd have to see it to know.

Very good. The lighting is perfect. Usually I like the cyclist in images such as this to be coming into rather going out of the image. But this time I like your way of doing it much better. I think the darkness is what does it for me.

I like it. You have used the rule of thirds very effectively in this image. The light in the upper right give it a focus and draws me to the rest of the image. Very well done and well processed.

Week 2

You captured a good expression on her face and the crop puts her in a good place in the image.Three things bother me. First I find the background a bit busy. The elbow intrudes on the image and the dark hair and the dark background behind her don't mix well for me. Second I would like to see a bit more of her eyes. This hidden eyes work well, they are just a bit too dark for me. Third, it looks like here forehead is a bit over sharpened - or perhaps it need a bit of a blur to smooth it out a bit.
