Ladder on the wallby bmarquezComment: Maybe I'm wrong, but IMHO this is not more than a photo of someones elses art. Where is your part of creativity? Send me an eMail if I'm wrong and I will look at this a 2nd time to change my vote... - nds ******** Thanks a lot for your eMail and I have to say sorry now! The painting on the wall is your's and I didn't saw the illusion with the original stair. I didn't wanted to offend your sensibilities, but this shot is just too perfect! I looked at it about a few minutes, but I was unable to realize this perfect illusion. Now I understand and I think, you took the right decision with placing more emphasis on the painting than on the original stairs. I hope for your score, that I am the only silly fool among the voters ;-) Did you thought about a little help for the eye to see this illusion? Maybe a bunch of flowers, a jag or a basked at one of the stairs could be helpful here. Or possibly just some petals, well-fitting to the painting... I hope, that you can forgive my mistake, good luck for the challenge with this awesome illusion! - nds |

tomato flowerby Wheeler1992Comment: Sorry, but IMHO not very interesting. O.K., the red and green works good together. But the tomato doesn't look like a flower to me, the main subject is out of focus and the green plants are not very nice at all... |

passing timeby bgaras2001Comment: Great shot, but I can't get the illusion part. Are frogs usually not sitting on a pocket watch :-)? Nevertheless I like your photograph and your idea to imitate the pendulum of a wall clock - 9 - nds |

Appearance is Everything by jpooleComment: Great illusion and awesome shot! Thanx for making me racking my brain! Was it inevitable for this illusion to put the pencil and the blue pin into the picture? - nds |

Going for Airby digitallywetComment: Sorry, but IMHO it doesn't work. I think you got more than enough comments so far, which are telling you, that sun is not a artificial light source. So I dont't have to. Apart from it both the turtle and the surface are out of focus and the composition or cropping could be better. But I hope you had a good dive! |
