Pretty simple idea. Took shot of my niece outside looking down on her. Printed pic, cut her out, put her in tall glass. Shot again.

I don't think it's legal, you can CLEARLY see how it was pasted. :p
11/02/2002 01:27:00 PM
nice effect

Good illusion. My partner suggested something like this, but I never got a chance to try it because I broke my camera the same day. I'd like to know how you achieved this? It looks very well done! mcrael

now if iwas in this situation, i think this girl better ask me a little bit nicely because she's not in a position to call the shots. it would be very easy for her to get 'flushed' if you know what i mean, lol. mag99

how's this?
10/31/2002 02:12:00 PM
Very funny idea and good execution. I would have liked it more if the glass and the girl's pictures were more in focus. The original photo of the girl could have ben taken under the exact same ilumination of the final photo with the glass, in order to provide a more realistic effect.

Very Unique.

I may be wrong but the person looks like she was a cut out photo. The idea is great.

Glad for the administrator note. Cause I wouldn't have believed it. Good illusion. I can see flaw below the waste but can't figure out how you got the waste up in the glass. Person almost looks like a cut out of a photo stuck in the glass. Good one. Not quite a 10 in my book but a strong 8 pushing a 9. Looked again so here's a 9 strictly on the illusion.

How in the world
10/29/2002 10:42:00 PM
i would have had her wear different clothes
10/29/2002 10:04:00 PM
that girl ,she's an Angel
10/29/2002 07:20:00 PM
You little bugger. I'll give you my "Why didn't I think of that" award for this week. Let me guess: the girl is actually a photograph. Dang. I'll give you a 10. Good luck with the challenge. Oh yeah, very well executed too. Nice and sharp.

10/28/2002 06:31:00 PM

This is very cool and soo good, it appears photoshopped. Is this a cut out photo placed in the glass? I like it! 10 Swash
10/28/2002 02:43:00 PM
This is excellent. I can't wait to hear how to do it. You are very clever. Good luck in the challenge...I'm giving you a 9. Grayce aka Gracious

A great idea.
10/28/2002 11:09:00 AM
Wow -- can't wait to hear how this one was done! Unfortunately, the only thing I can think of is "Really Damn Big Glass." Very impressive -- I'll bet this is a top 3. Ok, I just came up with a late breaking theory. The shot of the girl is actually a cut-out photo...?

looks too much like a paper cut out
10/28/2002 10:47:00 AM
Nice illusion if thats what it is.
Nicely shot.
10/28/2002 09:45:00 AM
Yet another that I need to know how it was done!
Yet another very clever picture.
10/28/2002 08:08:00 AM
I have looked at this several times waiting for the admin. note saying that it was legal! So I guess that means you did good! Once I saw that it was, it took me a minute to figure it out. Wish I'd thought of that!
10/28/2002 05:25:00 AM
Very well done. The best I've seen so far (it is sort of early in the series). The lighting source looks like it was from the same direction which is a big plus. Good job - Inspzil
10/28/2002 05:05:00 AM
Very creative and inventive. I am at a loss to determine your trick, so I look forward to learning how you achieved this fun image.
10/28/2002 12:54:00 AM
Wow! A very interesting shot, and well executed. And now, some speculation: did you print a picture of the girl, carefully cut, and then put it on the glass?
