Cool fish. They are fun to have. The photo is a bit plain though. Lighting is always one of the first things I see, and what sways my voting one way or the other. The other technical aspects of the photo are well done, but just work on the lighting. Both in-camera and during PP.

The lighting is very flat. This photo style would probably work better if you increased the contrast, and then burned in the shadows a bit more.

Now this photo just works well. The evening glow of the lights in the background, the soft lighting of the rocks and bridge, and the glass-like reflections of the water. Great photo! One of my top ten picks for sure!

Awesome photo. The colors are brilliant. The DOF seems a little odd, with one eye in sharp focus with lots of detail, and the other eye lacking. The catchlights in the eyes are also a bit distracting. You can definitely tell that this photo was taken outdoors. I would like to see more of the photo in focus, at least more of the face.

Great idea here. I've always wanted to do something like that. The right earpiece is a little distracting in front of the watch, but the point of the photo was well captured.

This photo seems well balanced enough for the challenge, but 70% of the tonal range is at medium gray all the way to black. It lacks a certain appeal without something prominent running through the photo that is lighter than the rest.

This is a great shot you've captured here. The lighting is wonderful. How did you set this shot up, as far as lights used, and also the background. I'm drawn in to the area around her feet because there is a reflection. I'm curious what you used for a background that would do that.
