The selective desaturation is interesting. I don't know if it is appropriate on this photo. It doesn't make this grave stand out enough. There are not excellent whites in the photo. The background is quite muddy and the shadow on the grave is distracting.

There is too much difference between max light and dark on the photo. It is n ot a very sharp picture. The composition is well done, but the rest needs some work. Nice try.

I agree. To me, this is gross and disgusting, and quite honestly, sad. But to them it is normal, everyday life. We have practices that other cultures view differently too also. Just be glad that you don't live there I guess!

Wow! This is an excellent photo. I really, really like the eyes. And the photo is so sharp! The colors all look so natural. If this were in a contest, it would be a perfect 10! How much post processing did you do, or was everything done in camera?
