First of i must say thank you for entering the challenge thats what keeps this site going.
so lets look at your photo,
shows lots of lines an deep groovs, with color
your shadows are dark, your composition is good,
to me this photo is a good shot.
those little yellowish circles draw my attetion away from the photo though, is that actually on the plan or is that becase of post processing bringing out the greens,
so overall there isnt much i could say about im provment on this photo, its just an average snap shot, doesnt really make me go wow,
tehcnically its fine,
good job keep shooting | Photographer found comment helpful. |

alright, lets see,
first off i must say, when i first saw your image i was like huh?
then i thought i was like lava, until i read your description, then i realized what it was.
I enjoy the color, its dark but its bright at the same time, which really adds to the texture,
it has great texture, i like how the lines are not from front to rear, their more like front left to rear right, which is good, i would have knocked you if it was just straight back,
ok, so your color, its great, except i think it would have been better if it was consistent throughout, the back has a big dark spot that as i read your commments cost you a few votes
over all i enjoy your photo, there is just some issues with the consistency of the color, and maybe a bigger DOF | Photographer found comment helpful. |

firs off i would like to say thankyou for entering the challenge, thats what keeps this site going
alright,
technically this photo shows good texture and a good color combination,
i dont see things you could correct with your photo or post processing,
the one thing i see is there is no DOF, its just a full picture of tree bark, not to interesting but it did score a 5.6
maybe if you shot from an angle up or down the tree so we could have seen into the crevases of the bark that would have added some more dof texture
so overall its a good shot you got a not to bad score, next challenge think a little more creative, | Photographer found comment helpful. |

First off i must say thank you for entering the challenge its what keeps this site goings
second this is a great photograph,
you used good deph of field, good color combination
i enjoy the texture in the corks, and the color of the red wine that has seeped into them over the months or years as it may be
one thing i notice i would think caused you a few votes is you croped off the top of the cork, if it was completly round it would have added a more deeper feeling to the photo.
over all this is a good composed shot, no real big faults in your photography, its just the subject is a little boring, here on dpc its hard to find something that all the voters are going to enjoy | Photographer found comment helpful. |

First off i must say thank you for entering the challenge that was makes this site keep going.
ok lets start, I do enjoy your photograph
Deph of field is great, its perfect, i wouldnt have gone any more or less.
I really like the spikes it really adds a texture feeling to the photo also the little note bars at the bottoms is a great additive to the photo and their croped in there perfect.
the red background is good, i like the color added to the silver in the wheel
there is nothing i can say that i dont like or anything to improve on in this photo, im unsure why its did score higher
sustains
good crops, good use of color, great ideas, and deph of field.

First off i must say thank you for entering the challenge its what makes dpc what it is today
to start, i must say i like your photograph, it puts a turn on the norm around here.
you composition is good, the rule of thirds was used, your backgroud coencides with the picture. i really like how the doll is dark and scary and the background is a light normal setting really adds to the photo.
its well focused and shows great texture and detail, perfect dof, you can tell what it is in the backgroudn but it take you a second, i really have nothing to say bad abot the photo, to me it perfect, it should have scored higher, people dont put into thought the time and effort you put into this photo.
Great job. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

First off i have to say thank you for entering the challenge, that what keeps dpc going.
ok,...
first of all i like you photo, it seems like you had a great idea,
things i notice,
to me it doesnt seem in focus, not that its not in focus, i see the focus point twoards the bottom chalk piece, which leaves the rest kinda not sharp.
I think a black background would have escentuated the color better, and you could have up the colors thru hue/saturation
over all i think this is a good photo it would have scored better if the color was more vibrand and it was a little sharper
Great shot, keep shooting. |

First of i have to say thank you for entering the challenge, its what keeps dpc going,
lets start.
first off you lighting and setup is good,
the only thing the really takes my attetion away at first is the line where the two peices of paper come together,
your color is good, i like the white background, i like the subjets they are funny, im not sure about the ball, at the same time i like it, it also draws my attetion away,
the sustains:
Your ideas are good,
your lighting is good.
Keep shooting

First off i have to say thank you for entering the challenge its what keeps this site going.
First off i must say i really enjoy your photograph
this is what i like the most first this really show you took the time and energy to creat a mignificant photo. and your score reflects that.
I dont really have any negatives, other then i think it would have been nice if you were in focus a litle bit more, but im sure thats easier said then done, i like the background,
what may have added to your score would have been a colorful shirt say yellow or red, that would be great.
sustains:
Great ideas, passion for your work, great discription of the photograph, and entering challenges for DPC | Photographer found comment helpful. |
